Waterfront dining just down the road from Murrells Inlet Marsh-walk with unobstructed views of Garden City and the Jetties.
The original Hot and Hot Fish Club was founded in the late 1700’s and was probably the first dining establishment in Murrells Inlet. The first club house was said to be on Drunken Jack Island. Located just a few miles south of the present day Hot Fish Club, near what is now Huntington Beach State Park. Members of the club described their past time spent on the island as the “happiest hours of their lives.”
The club was dismantled and finally laid to rest after the Civil War. An ever-shifting sand bar off the coast of Huntington Beach State Park is all that remains of the original site. The Hot Fish Club remains a favorite gathering place today for discriminating locals. But today’s Hot Fish Club is open to everyone seeking Good Food, Good Drink, and Lively Conversation, in the spirit of those earlier revelers. We pride ourselves on our personal service and our desire to satisfy each and every guest as we ourselves enjoy to be pampered.
